Kinship Center'sadoptive parents are prepared and continually supported to provide permanent care for children of any age. Sibling groups are placed together whenever possible. Services provided by Kinship Center include specialized training for parents, individualized services for each child, ongoing professional support, and the friendship and support of other foster and adoptive families providing the same valuable care to children. Parents receive a stipend per month while the child is in foster care status. After the adoption most families qualify for ongoing financial assistance until the child is age 18 or 21. Most families live in San Jose or Santa Clara County but we are also glad to welcome those who live in Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, San Mateo and Alameda counties.

We provide extensive educational resources to prepare you for your parenting journey, including skill training by expert teachers, our video library with DVD's produced in our own studio, and a wide range of recommended written materials.

Our staff have many decades of experience preparing families for adoption, matching their wants and capabilities with the needs of children, and supporting families on this lifelong journey. We are justly proud of the competence of our staff, who are responsible for the very high placement success rate and the client satisfaction ratings they have received.
